Elegant Lois

Attired  in striped silk and vintage black cotton lace, Lois projects an aura of High Victorian elegance. Her  gown is black silk with tiers of black lace covering the skirt.

The rose, white and black overskirt is gathered and draped into a back bustle which falls into a train. This confection is further adorned with matching silk ribbon roses and large black silk ribbon bows. Beneath are lace trimmed swiss cotton batiste pantaloons, petticoat, silk stockings and black leather shoes with black ribbon cocardes. Her upswept red hair sports a butterfly hair ornament. She wears rhinestone drop earrings and carries a matching black lace fan. Porcelain poured and painted by Jan Smith from a commercial mold and costumed by Rachelle.
